What is the Eligibility Criteria for this award?
A company must meet the criteria ad defined by the below. They are typically past the startup phase and face growth challenges rather than survival issues. For this award, they are characterized as established and growing firms with the following traits (a company must meet the following for the year ending 2008):
- Be a, for profit entity, a non-profit entity or a government entity.
- Employ at least two (2) full-time employees.
- The employee population being measured must be located entirely in the location you are applying for.>/li>
How do I apply?

I’ve been nominated for the award. What do I do now?
First off, congratulations! You will be notified and then asked to complete a hard copy application. Please complete the application and submit any requested documentation.
How are award recipients selected?
Award recipients are selected by a independent panel of judges representing various business segments. You will be assigned a system generated score, based on a point system from your online application. Once the score has been established and the finalists have been selected, each finalist will be asked to complete a paper application and submit supporting documentation relating to your wellness program. Once received, judges will select the winners based on company size and wellness initiatives.
When can I expect to hear if my company has been selected as a Finalist?
All finalists will be notified upon selection. All applications are considered for the award throughout the selection process, so we are unable to fulfill requests about application status until the official notifications are mailed.
What do companies receive if selected as a Healthiest Employer?
- Special recognition at the Healthiest Employers conference and awards banquet.
- Complimentary tickets to the gala event (extra seats or tables are available for purchase).
