They provide risk and insurance services to industries ranging from construction to life sciences. In addition, they offer employee benefit services, including health and wellness programs and strategic consulting, focused on improving results for their client partners.

At Conner Strong & Buckelew, it is required that employees get an annual physical and complete their biometrics screenings annually. In doing this, their employees receive a sizable decrease in their employee contribution if enrolled in their medical plan. A Human Resources representative shared that an employee came to them with their biometric results, which indicated that the employee had high cholesterol. The employee was shocked with the result and stated, "If Conner Strong did not make this a requirement, I would have never gone out of my way to complete my biometrics." - Anonymous.

During this time, one of our directors took the initiative to remotely leverage the program's fitness and nutritional training as part of a lifestyle change that resulted in the loss of 125 pounds. She continues to see a nutritionist paid for by GTM's health plan, which offers participants six free visits per year. With these resources in place, GTM's director is maintaining her health and exercise routine now that she is back in the office, and has inspired her family and colleagues to practice better health practices." -Anonymous

And,  I've taken advantage of some of the programs and services, which I've found beneficial. The team challenges are a lot of fun, and in a work-from-home year, I've enjoyed being involved with my peers and looked forward to tracking our success. The rewards points are also a great motivator; who doesn't like getting things for free? "All my life, I’ve loved to fish, boat, golf, and play guitar. For years when I did these activities, I’d enjoy a cigar. I didn’t smoke cigarettes, just cigars. Eventually, the frequency crept up. I started noticing there was always a cigar involved, even when I was just driving in the car or tinkering in the garage. It was becoming more of a habit than I wanted — or needed. My CBIZ benefits included the Quit for Life® smoking cessation program. I enrolled in Quit for Life, and I found the program to be a great way to hold myself accountable. I was paired with a Quit Coach® who provided a custom Quit Plan and connected regularly with me. Quit for Life gave me the tools I needed to be successful. In 2018 I completed the program and never looked back. I encourage anyone to course correct to be healthy enough to one day enjoy retirement!” - Anonymous
