Since 2009, Healthiest Employers® has recognized organizations across the U.S. that show a strong, ongoing commitment to employee wellbeing and population health.
Each year, the Kansas City Healthiest Employers awards are hosted in partnership with the Kansas City Business Journal.
To be considered, organizations complete the annual Healthiest Employers application, which evaluates wellbeing strategy and execution across six key categories. Responses—including yes/no, multiple-choice, and short‑answer questions—are scored on a standardized 1–100 scale.
Each participating organization receives a Healthiest Employers Index (HEI) score, which is used to rank companies within similar employee-size groups. For more details on scoring and criteria, please visit our methodology page.
Congratulations to all of this year’s Healthiest Employers award winners!
