Deb has been the Risk Manager for the City of Cincinnati since 2014. She is responsible for oversight of the City of Cincinnati's employee benefits, employee safety, employee health services and onsite clinic, employee wellness, self-insured workers' compensation program, the commercial insurance program, and the Public Employee's Assistance Program. Prior to joining Risk Management, she was the Business Services Manager for the Cincinnati Park Board and a Senior Assistant City Solicitor in the City's Law Department. Deb is a graduate of Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, The University of Massachusetts Amherst, and the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

Deb is highly successful in developing, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring workplace wellness strategies that align with organizational objectives. She possesses excellent analytical skills to ensure program success and is adept at creating fiscally responsible strategies. Deb prioritizes the health and well-being of COC employees, recognizing its impact on their commitment and happiness. She is dedicated to providing employees with deserving opportunities and genuinely cares about their well-being.

Deb recognizes the importance of self-care as a foundation for effective leadership. Actively participating in the Healthy Lifestyles program since its launch in 2007, she prioritizes exercise, healthy eating, and regular health check-ups. Not only does she personally engage in wellness activities, but she actively promotes them, extending personal invitations to staff and finding creative ways to attract new participants. After attending programs, Deb passionately advocates for them, encouraging others to join. She goes a step further by encouraging senior leadership to participate, fostering a culture of well-being throughout the organization.
